How does The Clean Co. cleaning process take place?

Our goal is to make your home a clean and healthy place that you love to spend time in. The Clean Co. is a cleaning company that uses technology to simplify our customers’ experience. Our simple booking process and experienced and well trained cleaning staff, it is as easy as one, two, Clean!

Does a person need to be present during the cleaning?

During the booking process you will be prompted to inform us if someone will be home or not during the clean, it is entirely up to you. Here are some of the common ways our cleaners are let in to our customers residences;

  • Remote door lock
  • Hidden Key
  • Doorman
  • Alternate entry, i.e. garage door keypad
  • Another adult at home

**All of our cleaners do what they can to follow social distancing guidelines, especially when people are near while doing their job. Please be respectful of this so we can make your home as clean as possible in the allotted time.

Is The Clean Co. bonded and insured?

Yes, The Clean Co. is insured and bonded and we take being in your place of residence extremely seriously. All of our cleaners have undergone thorough background checks and training to minimize incidents inside our customers homes.

The Clean Co. and Pet safety?

All of our cleaning supplies are completely safe–for people and pets, so your pet will be safe during our cleanings. However, sometimes animals don’t love strangers in the home especially if the owner is away. If you believe your animal(s) would become stressed or restless please arrange accordingly. We cover this question in our online booking process.

What is The Clean Co.'s Promise?

We promise to clean to your satisfaction! If you do not feel our cleaning service was satisfactory, please reach out to contact@the-cleanco.com We will work with you to ensure The Clean Co. Promise is met.

Maximum cleaning hours?

The maximum estimated cleaning hours is what we determine the job will require in “total working hours”. So if there are two cleaners working for 1 hour each that is equal to 2 working hours.

This ensures we do the job correctly and on par with our standards. We cannot allow our cleaners to spend more time than the maximum cleaning hours, as some homes will need numerous cleans to get caught up to our standards. In cases where more work is needed and you do not have recurring cleaning services with us, we recommend to book another follow up clean.

Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?

We use and provide our cleaners with environmentally friendly supplies and nearly all equipment needed to clean your home, with some exceptions.

  • Vacuum
  • Step Stool (for high dusting – where applicable)
  • Toilet brush
  • Customers preferred wood cleaner
  • Customers preferred stainless steel cleaner
  • Customers preferred bleach cleaner

We do carry our own variations of wood cleaner, stainless steel cleaner, and bleach. If you want us to use your own preferred cleaners, please leave them in clear view and directions on where you would like them to be used.

What if I don’t have a mop, bucket, or vacuum?

Our cleaning staff will have a wet/dry mop with them for areas that are not covered by carpet or upholstery. If you don’t have a vacuum we will not be able to properly clean any carpet or upholstery.

Post Construction cleaning or renovation work done?

Post construction cleaning usually requires a bit more time to be done to our standards as well as the proper tools to complete the job. In order to get you taken care of please begin by completing this form (link to jot form).

When are our commercial cleaning hours?

We clean our commercial spaces both morning and night, during and after normal working hours. When would make the most sense for us to clean your space? If we need to we can get our cleaners access to your building via your key cards or hard physical door keys in coordination with building managers, we can do so.

Does The Clean Co. provide equipment and supplies when cleaning commercial spaces?

Most of the businesses we clean prefer to use their own cleaning equipment and supplies as they have most of them in house. If this is the case for you, we can use your cleaning supplies and equipment.

If you do not have in house cleaning supplies and equipment you can make this known in completing your online form fill, we will ask about this specifically.

Our quality control and oversight?

We take pride in our Satisfaction Promise! All of our cleaners have a review requested to each customer after every cleaning. Based on the feedback of this review, we make necessary adjustments and keep our Satisfaction Promise with our customers. These reviews ensure our cleaners are doing great work, and allows us to communicate with our customers after their provided clean.

As part of our thorough training process with our cleaners, our cleaning manager attends and participates in their initial cleanings and periodically does so going forward.

What supplies do I need to provide?

All restocking supplies to get your space ready for the next booking needs to be provided and accessible. If it is not, our cleaners will not be able to complete this part of our checklist. If any supplies are in a strange location, please put this in the special instructions during the booking process.

What if I am missing supplies or equipment?

If you are missing a step stool, vacuum, or any other applicable supplies – our cleaners cannot complete that portion of our checklist.

Recurring discounts and Short-Term bookings?

Most airbnb rentals that we clean are booked randomly, with some portions of the year busier than others. We do offer significant discounts to more frequent cleanings and a quote can be requested via the Short-Term bookings form, found here.
Frequent booking qualifies you for discount credit:

  • At least weekly
  • 2x monthly
  • Monthly

During the booking process you can select how often you want your place cleaned recurrently. One of the selection options is as needed, meaning you schedule a clean each time it is needed. This will default to the standard pricing, but we will look back at your bookings each month and determine if you need discounts based on your actual cleaning frequency.

Turndown Services

This offering is just as good as it sounds. Let us take care of prepping your Airbnb or other short-term rental. Nothing keeps your guests coming back like a fresh, welcoming, clean space.

Linen Services

Taking care of all the linens inside a short-term rental is a lot of work, lets us do what we do best and get these washed and ready for future use. Separate pricing can be found here

How do I pay for my cleaning service?

We accept all major credit and debit cards via our secure Stripe payment infrastructure. We also accept payments via PayPal.

Unfortunately we cannot accept cash payments.

The Clean Co. tipping policy?

Yes, yes, yes – please leave tips for our amazing cleaners. They are not required, but much appreciated

100% of the tips go to your cleaner(s)

You can easily tip during the booking process when prompted, or do so after the fact with cash

Our cleaners cannot request tips and should not ask for them, they should let their work do the talking

When and how does my card get charged?

Your card will be charged when you book the appointment. You will receive an email with the receipt and summary of service on how much your card is charged

What is The Clean Co.’s Cancellation Policy?

There will be a 40% cancellation fee to appointments not cancelled by 2PM MST the day before the appointment.
